Strawberry Season

One of the things I find most interesting about adulthood is how much time  I spend doing thing that I never would have considered in my teens or even early twenties.  On that note I have made 4 batches of low yield pectin free strawberry jam since Sunday and I may still make one more.  We went strawberry picking on Saturday and as I'm sure many of you know if you don't deal with those berries fast they get gross.
I use the Strawberry Lavender Jelly from this cookbook.  I haven't done really any of the other recipes but they all look good and we have loved the strawberry one.  Its not so loaded with sugar and so it tastes like strawberries instead of well white sugar.
